For this past decade, FoodRecovery has been turning potential waste into possibilities. What started as a small group of student volunteers rescuing surplus food from local restaurants has grown into a movement that’s fed thousands of families, prevented tons of food from entering landfills, and built bridges between abundance and need in our communities across the nation.

Since 2015, we’ve:
- Rescued over 170,951,887.81 pounds of surplus food
- Provided 142.42 million meals to those in need
- Saved 19.63 billion gallons of water
- Prevented 100,023 tons of CO2 emissions
